JOIN OUR 5TH ANNUAL FLOAT YOUR BOAT FUNDRAISER
Updated: Mar 7, 2019
Float Your Boat is Environment360’s innovative annual fundraiser and competition created in 2015. The competition allows teams of five to build boats made from plastic bottles and race them in order to raise funds for our environmental education programs in coastal and urban regions. Float Your Boat also teaches students how to segregate waste and helps them discover fun ways to reuse their plastic waste, thereby reducing the amount of waste we generate. The event is a great way to get students excited about keeping their environment clean.
Environment360 would like to invite your school to participate in the 5th edition of Float Your Boat on 27th April 2019. This fun and exciting competition is not only a great way to get students involved with community service, but also teach them more about sustainable living habits.
Each school is allowed to register two (2) teams and each team must pay an entry fee of GHS500. Teams can be sponsored by companies or team members can choose to raise the funds by themselves. Trophies, medals and certificates are given not only to the winner but also to the best boat, best dressed and the best team name! Get involved today and help us clean Ghana up!

Since our inception, we have educated nearly 65,000 children about the environment and have kept in excess 600 tons of plastic and paper from landfills.
