Cordie Aziz,

Founder & Executive Director

Cordie Aziz is the Founder and Executive Director of Environment360. Ms. Aziz is passionate about creating clean communities by leveraging the informal work force and the strength of the community. Under her leadership, the organization has grown to handle more than GHS 2 million Ghana cedis in projects. She believes in creating indigenous systems to address poor waste management in West Africa. Her passion led her to create the first successful plastic collection scheme for communities in Ghana.  

 

Before starting Environment360, Ms. Aziz worked for the United States Congress on the Committee on Homeland Security. She also served as the Public Relations Director for the NJATC, the largest apprenticeship training program in the United States. She holds a bachelor degree in Mass Communications from Jackson State University and a master degree in Public Administration from Bowie State University, both located in the United States.

A passionate story teller, Christine works with key stakeholders and media to clearly articulate the message of Environment360, as well as leads the school program. She is responsible for ensuring visibility of the organization and the growth of  school programming.

David Mensah has seven years of experience in the waste management field in Ghana and specializes in developing and facilitating business training for waste pickers. He is passionate about community impact and finding solutions to help scale projects and ensure sustainable business models. 

Trained in Benin and Nigeria, Obo is a YALI graduate that is passionate about using social media an an impact tool. She manages the organiaiton's social media accounts and handles the creation of multimedia.

Kafui has a M.Sc in Environmental Sciences from the Institue of Enviromental Studies and Sanitation at the University of Ghana, Legon. He is responsible for overseeing program implementation and design of the organization's programs. He serves as the lead for the Pick-It project.

Samuel holds a Master of Science in Art.He is responsible for supporting of the Kumasi operations. He supports the organization of informal workers, development of community partnerships and relationships with local stakeholders. 

Samuel Boateng

Victoria holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration (HR). She attends to visitors,directing them appropriately and notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.

She's in change of the telecommunication systems and also receives and disburses payments on behalf of the organization. 

Victoria Bukari

(Receptionist)
 

Rashida holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Development Studies. She oversees program field work, supports training and ensures projects timelines are met.

Precious has a Bachelor in Nursing from the University of Health and Allied Sciences and holds a Certificate in Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington . He is currently the schools coordinator. He ensures that partnering schools and other cooperate institutions are trained and educated on good segregation practices.
